Sunday Morning Rain is Falling

My man and I have three businesses and two J.O.B.s between us. During the week we are fast-moving ships passing, fighting hard just to have a 45 minute window at the end of the day for a quick catch up. Even Saturdays are dedicated to our pursuits. We are mutually focused on these dreams of ours, and know it’s worth the dedication.

But oh Sunday. How I adore you. This morning as the entire urban neighborhood we live in sleeps in, there isn’t even the sound of traffic out there and the spring rain’s rhythm lulls me back to sleep. The dog is curled at the end of the bed and we are all cocooned in the welcome and wonderful quiet.

This weekly recharge and regroup is everything. Waking up on Sunday snuggled in bed with the entire unstructured day ahead is my favorite moment of the week. It’s hard to imagine pushing so hard the other six days a week without having the recharge of our Sundays.  What do you do to recharge, Wildflower? Let us know in the comments below!
